Alinta Robinson-Herbert

Alinta graduated from the University of Tasmania in 2011 with combined Bachelor of Arts and Laws. In 2017, she completed her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice before being admitted to the Supreme Court of Tasmania the same year, followed by the High Court of Australia in 2018.

Alinta has worked in private practice for the duration of her legal career in the areas of family law, child protection and civil litigation. Alinta joined Tremayne Fay Rheinberger in 2020. She accepts both private and legally aided clients.

Alinta is a member of our Family Law and Civil Litigation teams. She works closely with Sarah Tremayne and Renee Spencer and appears in the Federal Circuit Court of Australia and the Magistrates Court of Tasmania.

Alinta is a current member of the Family Law Practitioners of Tasmania and the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia and a committee member of both Southern Young Lawyers Committee and Tasmanian Women Lawyers Association. Alinta held the position of 2020 Continuing Professional Development Officer for the Southern Young Lawyers Committee.

Outside of work, Alinta enjoys bushwalking, the arts, cooking and (when possible) travel.
