Aurora is a Principal of the firm and holds a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of Melbourne.
With over 20 years’ experience as a commercial and property lawyer, Aurora has worked in both the Government and private sectors as an in-house lawyer and senior manager. Aurora has broad experience in a range of industries including retail and property development, manufacturing and logistics, wholesale foodservice distribution, and the aged care and pharmacy sectors, and has served for many years as a director in the not-for-profit sector. As a result, Aurora has an appreciation of the practical issues faced by her clients as well as an understanding of their legal and regulatory environment.
Aurora has worked closely with private business owners and has specialised knowledge and experience with business and company sales and acquisitions, joint ventures, and governance and succession planning.
Aurora has particular expertise in all aspects of commercial leasing, having advised private, corporate and Government clients in commercial, industrial, ski-lodge and agricultural leasing, lease dispute resolution and development agreements, and has conducted retail leasing in all Australian states and territories as well as in New Zealand and Singapore for a major Australian retail group.
A member of the Law Society of Tasmania’s Commercial and Property Law Committee, Aurora regularly presents training and seminars for both lawyers and clients and is the current Chair of Girl Guides Tasmania.
