James graduated from the University of Tasmania in 2022 with a combined Bachelor of Business and Bachelor of Laws degree. In 2023, he completed his Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice and was admitted to the Supreme Court of Tasmania in the same year. James is working across a range of disciplines with a focus on estate disputes and civil litigation. He works closely with Zac Nicholson to advise in a range of estate dispute matters, and with Renee Spencer in civil litigation matters. James is also a member of our Estates team. He works closely with Bridget Rheinberger and is available to assist with estate planning.

Outside of work, James enjoys travelling, spending time with family and friends, playing hockey for the Canterbury Hockey Club and is an avid supporter of the Collingwood Football Club.
